WizeHire Closes $7.5M for Hiring Solution

WizeHire, a Houston, TX-based provider of a hiring solution for small businesses, closed a $7.5m Series A funding round. The round was co-led by Amplo and Mercury with participation from Ruchit Shah and RigUp co-founder Sandeep Jain. In conjunction with the funding, Amplo’s Sam Garcia, will join WizeHire’s board along with Heath Butler, Managing Director at Mercury.

Founder and CEO Sid Upadhyay said: “We started WizeHire in 2014 because we wanted small businesses to have an incredible hiring experience they could actually afford. Today’s announcement is a huge step in that journey.”

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
