Employee Management Platform Rippling Raises $145M Series B

Rippling has raised $145 million in Series B funding led by Founders Fund. Participants in the round included Greenoaks Capital, Coatue Management, and Bedrock Capital, as well as existing investors including Kleiner Perkins, Initialized Capital, and Y Combinator.
Co founded by CEO Parker Conrad and CTO Prasanna Sankar, Rippling provides businesses with a platform to manage their HR & IT — from payroll and benefits, to employee devices and apps — all in a single system. It enables every company to onboard a new employee quickly and set up their payroll, health insurance, work computer, and third-party apps like Gmail, Microsoft Office, and Slack. The platform unifies every employee system, and automates the administrative work behind each. The company also has an office in Bengaluru.
