Gupy Raises R$500M for Recruitment & Selection Platform
Gupy announced they have raised R$500M, or $94M, led by the SoftBank and Riverwood funds, and accompanied by Endeavor Catalyst. This is one of the largest investments in an HR platform in Latin America and also the biggest investment in a Brazilian startup founded by women. The platform was founded by Mariana Dias, Bruna Guimarães, Guilherme Dias and Robson Ventura in 2015.
Mariana Dias said: “With the funding we gain even more strength to move towards a big, bold dream of innovation and HR transformation: to contribute to the future of employability and to a world with more people fulfilled in their jobs through end-to-end technology, as well as for the candidates and employees of the company.”
Gupy is a moden Recruitment and Selection platform that uses artificial intelligence to match candidates to functions.
The investment will allow Gupy to continue growing at an accelerated rate, further expanding operations throughout Brazil. Among their goals is to increase the portfolio of innovations for HR and intelligently integrate all corporate solutions. The new funding also will increase investments in technology and contribute to the development of the future of employability.
