Mesh Raises $5M for Employee Performance
Mesh, a Gurugram and San Jose based provider of a people management platform, raised $5m in seed funding. The round was led by Sequoia Surge, RTP Global, Emles Venture Partners, and YCombinator Continuity with participation from angel investors Neeraj Arora (ex Whatsapp CBO), Prasanna Sankar (Co-founder Rippling), Munish Varma, Sumer Juneja and Vikas Agnihotri (Softbank Partners).
Founded by Gaurav Chaubey, Rahul Singh and Saurabh Nangia in May 2020, Mesh provides a people management platform that makes it easier for employees to manage goals, get timely feedback from their bosses, and progress faster at work. The AI-driven platform captures employee data across diverse aspects to generate a comprehensive view of each team member across an organisation. By doing this, Mesh is able to build an accurate picture of employee performance while also illustrating how each employee can further develop their career.
“The future of work is flexible, distributed, and agile, yet many companies have retained traditional methods of managing employee performance and engagement. Mesh was built to ensure that companies today are equipped to manage a new-age workforce with agility,” said Gaurav Chaubey, Co-founder, Mesh.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its engineering and sales teams ahead of US expansion.
