Ontop Raises $20M for International Hires

Ontop, a remote recruiter platform, raised a $20M Series A funding round led by Tiger Global and Point72. SoftBank’s SB Opportunity Fund also participated in the round.

“Global talent deserves easier access to payments and financial solutions and companies need to find easy and centralized ways of distributing payments all over the world,” Ontop co-founders Santiago Aparicio, Julian Torres and Jaime Abella said in a statement.

Ontop helps companies streamline their international hiring and payments processes. The startup manages contracts, documents, taxes, regulatory compliance, and payments through its automated platform. 

Ontop now plans to grow its team with new hires and strengthen its global payments network. The platform eventually plans to launch more fintech products to aid cross-border contracting.
