Teal closes $5M Funding Round to Help People Find a Job They Love

Teal provides career guidance, community, and tools to help professionals build fulfilling and successful careers. The company announced to have raised a 5 million dollar seed round, led by Flybridge Capitaland including Lerer Hippeau, Corigin Ventures, Aleph, Oceans Ventures, High Output, and some incredible smaller funds and angel investors.
Teal plans on using the funding to continue growing the team, which is currently at 12 people, with a 50/50 split between men and women.
CEO Dave Fano says that one of the greatest challenges for the company is also one of its biggest opportunities. He explained that most people think they need an individual, bespoke career coach because of the general complexity of individual careers. The company has no interest to become a B2B solution, instead focuses on delivering services to consumers.
